Great Scott, ShareASale “Think Tank” at the Wynn Las Vegas, a Huge Success!

I just returned from one of the most amazing, most productive, most beneficial trips I have taken in a while, where I joined five Scotts (yes, five guys named Scott) for ShareASale.com’s “Think Tank.” Put on by Brian Littleton of ShareaSale.com, it’s no surprise that this was a first-class event.

The “Think Tank” brought together 13 top merchants and 35 leading affiliates for a weekend of information sharing that is simply unmatched.

We all met at the 5-star Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, where the Nov. 4 and 5 event was kicked off with a meet-and-greet dinner at the hotel’s spectacular restaurant. We were all put up for the night in magnificent rooms on the hotel’s 32nd floor, overlooking the golfcourse, and got up early to kick-off our day with a scrumprous breakfast and then it was off to the Wynn’s Conference Center for the Think Tank session.

Brain arranged a classroom-style setting where the merchants presented to the affiliates. Each merchant took 45 minutes to provide details on their payouts, conversion rates, etc. - basically all the finer details we like to look at when choosing merchant programs.

Each individual presentation concluded with a Q&A session that allowed us to review the merchant’s sites with them. So, as a group, we provided input and suggestions and talked about making money with the merchant’s programs.

It was, in a word, amazing!

The weekend also provided great information sharing and networking opporunities and brought together some of the best and the brightest in the business. Of course, the wonderful meals, gift cards and cash cards (that we spent in the casino) only helped to take the weekend right over the top.

Kiyonna.com Looking for sophisticated plus-size clothing? This merchant’s site is top-notch and offers free shipping on orders over $50.

CSNStores.com This merchant brings together a large selection of stores, most of which offer home and office furniture, storage solutions, children’s furniture, leather pieces, massage chairs, mirrors and more.

Scrapbook.com This site offers scrapbooking ideas and supplies.

InTheSwim.com As the site name implies, you’ll find pool supplies, pool equipment and spa supplies here.

BabyShowerGamesAtoZ.com Once again, it’s all in the name. Here you’ll find baby shower games, theme party accessories, printable shower games and ideas.

IBSDirect.com IBS is an online ministry of international bible society and provides Bibles andother materials in various languages, along with a large variety of related products for children and adults.

StuffedArc.com This merchants offers stuffed animals, dog toys, gift baskets and more, as well as popular links to other money-saving sites.

CrazyForBargains.com Need pajamas for any member of the family? From flannels to boxers to novelty prints, this is the place to go.

ThingsFromAnotherWorld.com This online comic book store also offers action figures, DVD movies and other pop culture collectibles.

Again, if you’re looking for great merchants and top-notch affiliate programs, give these sites a look.

Now, back to the FIVE SCOTTS!

Believe it or not, in our small group of weekend warriors, we had five Scotts among us. While this made for some great laughs (and a tad of confusioon here and there), one can’t help but think there’s something to this. So, if you’re reading this and your name is Scott…;-)
